I don't know whether the following is of any help to you but I am very interested in my origins.
I am the middle son of Joseph Kilcourse and the late Ann Kilcourse. My Father was residing in Manchester and now resides as i do in Australia, as does my Sister Kathleen. I have a brother Joseph Francis residing in Manchester, England. My Father was the youngest of about 6 children. i have no details about his Father, but his Mother was Flaherty and lived until she was 99. i believe they originated from County Mayo, Ireland before moving to England. My father had one brother named Michael, all the rest were girls, as were many of my enlarged family of cousins, so the name seemed to be dying out. i have one son and 2 girls.
