I am trying to find information on the ancestors of Jacob Botham Smith born in 1868 Whittington Chesterfield county of Derby who married Margaret Jane Rudkin in 1895 at Low Harrogate, they had 7 children the eldest being my husbands grandfather. Jacob worked at one stage at Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire as a farmhand for Lady Perry Herrick, the family also lived on the grounds. Any information no matter how big or small would be wonderful..Thankyou.
