I do not think I will be much help but I too am looking into the Kenney family since my Great Grand Father married Molly Kenney 3/18/1889 in Georgia, he was living in Griffin, Ga at the time. She was his second wife as his we believe his first wife died in childbirth abt 1883. I have Molly's parents as:
William Jefferson Kenney; b: 2;1851 in Sales city, Ga (abt 50 miles east of Blakely, Ga on the Alabama line.); d: 1939. Mother - Charity Elizabeth Shores; m: 3/18/1889. This is all the information we have at present. che-ers
