: my father was james leo littrell II. I was born in Florida and would like to see if i am a part of this line. I'll do some research, please get back to me
: : I am researching the Littrell and Walton line. I have a copy of the marriage license of my Grandparents, Conner Littrell and Bertha Walton who were married in Boone Co., Kentucky, Feb. 4, 1908. I have the names of their children, one of which is my father, James Lewis Littrell. I have been told that the town of Walton was named after my Grandmothers Uncle, Matthew Walton. I also have a copy of the marriage license of my Great Grandparents, Andrew Jackson Littrell and Julia Morris, married in Boone Co. Kentucky Feb. 6, 1873 at the residence of Lewis Morris who is Julia's father and my GG-Grandfather. I have found some Julia's line but have nothing on Andrew. Also, I have nothing on my Grandmother Walton.

: : I would like to know who the parents and siblings are of Bertha Walton and Andrew Jackson Littrell. But, any information would be greatly appreciated.

: My late sister did extensive geneologican research and our mother's maiden name was Mona Littrell, daughter of James Nathan Lilttrell. My sister traced the Littrells back to Robert Luttrell who came to Prince William County, Virginia from Ireland in the early 1700's. He had three sons; Richard, Thomas and Simon and it is believed that our branch of the family descended from Simon.

: Earliest positive information on our direct family line is that Lewis Liltteral, grandfather of James Nathan Littrell, was born in Virginia about 1805. It is believed that he was born in Montgomery County.

: Lewis Littrell and Sally Jones were married in Grayson County, Virginia on August 23,, 1826. From various census reports it appears that they had at least 13 children. One of their sons was Macajah Littrell, father of James Nathan.
: The fact that your father carries the name "Lewis" is interesting.
