: : lOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON A. A. EDMONSON, MARRIED TO mARY bROWN; SON - JOHN A. EDMONSON - BORN IN mISS. AND MARRIED SALEMMA MOORE. jOHN A. & SALEMMA CHILDREN WERE; CECIL E. EDMONSON, FAY R.; JOHN W.; LUKE M.; ETHEL EDMONSON THOMAS, AND HAZEL RUTH EDMONSON DONNER. NEED A. A. EDMONSON'S FATHER AND MOTHER'S NAME.

: Possibility: If A. Edmonson was born pre-Civil War in Kentucky, he might be same as one of my ancestors, Hubbard Acles Edmonson, son of Johnnie Edmonson, born circa 1800 in N. Carolina, came to Ky approx. 1820, settling around Providence, Ky. in western part of state. (If your referenced A. Edmonson meets that era, he served in the Civil War, but no information on him after that. (My great-great grandfather was brother to Hubbard Acles Edmonson.)

My name is Chris Phelps and I am related to the Edmonsons in Saline Co. Arkansas. A.A. was my ggggrandfather. He was from S.C. and married Mary (from Alabama) and they had William, Samuel, David Franklin, Elias Earl, Benjamin Griffith (my gggrandfather) and John. If this is the right group I have plenty more info.
