We believe that Alexander was born on the ship NANCY on the way to America. His birhtdate has been listed as Nov. 26,1775 and he died July 31 1855 in TN. We believe that his family first settled in SC, as TN wasn't a state yet.He was married to a lady by the first name of Gilley. She was born Oct. 24,1781 and died Feb. 19, 1847. We know their children but can't seem to locate Alexander's parents. If these names are familiar, please email me. Thank you.
