I am looking for info on the Cain's and Sizemore's of Gwinnett, GA. They are on the 1880 Gwinnett Census as neighbors. I am not posivitely sure that the Cicero Cain Family that is on this census is the correct one. They have a son John WM Cain age 14 who I think is my gt grandfather who marries Vina R Sizemore age 14 his neighbor. I do have info on Vina and her whole family including her Sizemore Aunts that married into the
Bailey, Mitchell, and Fraiser families.
I am also looking for more info on the Basinger and Chenoweth families from Danville(Vermillion) Illinois they came from Crawford County Indiana first.
I have a few more surnames that I am researching:
Berry's of Kansas and Missouri areas
Purvis of Kansas and MIssouri areas.
I think that the Berry and Purvis surnames are from Miami County in Missouri. Thomas E Berry married Nettie Mae Purvis. They came from Kansas and moved to Missouri or it may be the other way around. I know that their daughter Flona E Berry married my grandfather Jesse Harley Dobson in Kansas in the early 1900's.
