My fathers name is Marion Joseph Hughes born in 1919 in Aniston, Alabama. His father was Samuel Franklin Hughes of Rome, Georgia (Irish) who married Lottie Lee Webb of Rome, Georgia (Cherokee). Lottie was his mother. His father had a brother with the same name as my father: Marion Hughes who lived in Rome, Georgia. My father married my mother Margaret Ruth Randle in Greenville, MS in 1942.
