Hi Mark,
I have two different branches of Mitchells in my ancestory. Robert Mitchell was born in Dublin, Ireland and came to settle on Placentia Island, Maine. The other one,Charles M., married his daughter,Marrietta and came from Tremont, Maine. I do not know where his family came from,but do know they were not related. I am hopeing to learn more about them.
