Hi, I am also trying to start a family tree on the surname Hotson, I have seen that there are a few Hotsons in Grimsby, also a few from Cambridgeshire. My great grand father Arthur Manley Hotson was origanally from Peckham, and moved to Southampton. Hopefully this may help a little. Good luck.
