I have just learnt that I am related to the Blum's. My great great grandfather was Albert Hermann Spoehr (b. 1.11.1853 d.25.3.1929)born in Balhannah , South Australia. (ten minutes from where I live now) Albert married Wilhelmine Blum in 1878. She was born in Hamburg, Germany, 7.11.1858 and passed away 16.3.1943. Her parents were August Blum and Augusta(maiden name unknown) That is all the information I have on the Blums, Albert and Wilhelmine had nine children and I am a descendant of their oldest son, Hermann August. I am going to visit their graves for the first time tomorrow. Hope to hear from you.
