Not sure if there is any connection or not, does the Perska family have any Polish connection as my family came out from Germany at the turn of the cetury although they origanatted from Poland,Their name at the time was spelt Piekarski, then later i beleive was spelt Perkarski this may differ depending on the different countries that they landed in i guess
