I want to locate some long-lost relatives. My fraternal grandfather is a complete mystery. His name (we believe) was William Joseph Devine and he came (we believe) from Montreal. He may or may not have been an orphan. We know he did have one sister, Louisa, who married an "Oborn" in Montreal. She and her husband had one son that I'm aware of, whose name was "Willy" (no doubt short for William). If anyone has any knowledge of the Oborns of Montreal and their family line, please contact me. My father is 91 now and it would be lovely for him to find out anything about this long-lost branch of the family (none of whom he had any occasion to meet, unfortunately).
