I am researching Sheriff Allen Hooks of Milam County, Texas who was sheriff here in 1910-1918. Any information is appreciated. I am looking for a picture to place in our lobby and website. Allen Hooks had a brother, Frank Hooks who died around 1, Sept. 1904. Hooks father (name unknown) came to Texas from Salitlo, Hardin County, Tennessee. Frank Hooks was born on January 17, 1870. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetary in Cameron, Texas. Allen Hooks was also city Marshall of Cameron, Texas in 1904. I don't have any other information on the family. Any help is appreciated.
