I am another descendant of John Sunderland & Margaret Sharpe. Yes, John was the son of James Sunderland and Margaret Crozier/Croser. I have not got any further back than this yet, but i have a contact in Canada who is a descendant of George and Elizabeth, and he informs me that the Rumney name has been traced back to 1474.
I can provide Gedcom of the Canada branch and details of the Sunderland line in the UK.
