I'm looking for additional information on an Anthony GREEN's murder committed by Martin RICE, a well known jockey rider. The only information I have was extracted from 'The Creswick & Clunes Advertiser and County of Talbot Agricultural Journal". The murder occurred in September 1861. Martin Rice was executed in Melbourne, Australia around the 1st of October, 1861. Anthony Green was originally from March in the Isle of Ely in the county of Cambridgeshire, England. He was a veterninary surgeon, graduating from London Veterninary College. He was married to Elizabeth Bithrey. Anthony was baptized on February 27, 1823 in March. He had at least 3 children - Mary Frances b. 1855 in Cwood, Victoria; Henrietta Bithrey b. 1856 in Newton, Victoria; and Anthony John Orr b. 1858 in Emerald Hill, Victoria. Any information on Anthony, Elizabeth, and/or their children would be greatly appreciated.
