Since you are Duric and you say your grandfather was Palic, I presume that the Palic you referred to was from your mother's side. Who exactly was that Palic? I have the entire genealogy of both the Glasnovic Tomkin and Palic-Tocetov families. My mother's father was Joza Palic Tocetov who had eight daughters and three sons. Among his sons, one was Pasko, the second Tuna. Both worked in the US at one point. The third son is Nikola (Kolje) who now lives in Zagreb. He is 93 years old. I Stjepan Glasnovic Tomkin am 83 years old and my son Martin Tomkin is 40 years young! We live in Ontario, Canada.
