I am looking for parentage of William Ambrose BROWN
and his wife Mary Grigsby TRAVERS who were married in
Overwharton Parish, Stafford Co., VA, 16 Dec 1787.
Believe lived in Culpeper Co. and Madison Co. Va.,
before moving to Mercer Co., KY., around 1829.
William Ambrose BROWN had at least two sisters --
Elizabeth md. John POPHAM and Phoebe md as second
wife to John BROWN. Children of Wm. Ambrose BROWN
and Mary Grigsby TRAVERS were Margaret JAMES, Ellender
BARNETT, Lucinda LUKE(LAKE),sons Ambrose,John T. plus 4
more unknown children.
