I am researching John STOCKDALE married to Christena SMITH (married in late 1820's-1830's?). They lived in Yorkshire, England, but in the 1830's immigrated to Canada where they first settled in the province of Quebec along the St. Lawrence River. They had four children: Charity (born 8 May 1833 - in Quebec), Adam (born 28 Feb 1837), Faith and Hope.

Adam married Adaline? and lived in the province of Ontario where they had eight children. Charity married Thomas Hambly and they also lived in Ontario and had ten children.

If you have any information on John STOCKDALE (parents, siblings - if any, etc), please let me know.
