We are looking for information on this woman and her husband. She was born in
Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia, Germany on 25 May 1819 and christened
on 30 Jul 1819. Her parents were Daniel Joseph Prien and Rebecca Elsabe
Quest/Quast. In 1837 Julie was working, as a servant in Wesselburen. She
later married a widower and butcher by the name of Johann/Hans Hinrich
Engel. There were 10 children, but we do not know how many were Julie's
children. The Engel family left for the USA sometime before 1864. This is
all the information that we have. Thanks to anyone, who can help us.
