Terressa Sophia Wendt, born 5/20/1849 in Mechlin, Prussia, married John Martin Breithaupt (in Red Oak, Illinois?). she emigrated to the US in 1862 with her mother Henrietta Ulrike Justine Wendt. Terressa had four sisters, who stayed in Prussia ("Germany"), according to family records. I'm hoping to make contact with their descendants and am eager to exchange information.
