Thanks: I am researching John Sawyer of Lincolnshire, whether Gainsborogh or Leverton, there seems to be a difference of opinion. I have the will of John's wife Agnes of Leverton, obtained from the library in Lincoln. My family links John to George of Cawston, but I have inherited no proof. The family arms seems to indicate a relationship with the Sawyers of Kettering. Any comment?
