Searching for info on my Masons/Gastons of Lincoln and Gaston Cos. NC. John Mason b ca 1799 m. Frances Gaston/Gaskin ca 1821 Their children were Lawson A. b. 1822 from whom most of present day Masons in Gaston Co NC descend, Caleb.,. Louisa who stayed in NC. Samuel Selatheil, my g grandfather born 1828 and Wm. A. who came to Conway and Pope cos AR in 1848. Selatheil m Elizabeth Shewmake b. Tn. 1830. Their children: James Harrison, Lawson A., Nancy Emma(M JOseph Vaughn) Elizabeth(m. Charley Lewis,) Marcus A., John Stark and William H. All children b. Conway Co. AR.
