I am searching for descendants with knowledge of our Benjamin Kings parents. His military (Civil War) records show he was born in Abbeville, S.C. He married in Jackson County, Ga. between 1820-1830. He later moved to Carroll County, Ga. where he was living when he enlisted in the Civil War with his son. He was taken sick at Vicksburg, Miss. and sent to a hospital in Mobile, Al. where he died.
