My mother was Clara Jane Wendt. Her father was August Wendt and her mother was Louisa Tappe. They were from the area of Hannover and/or Braunschweig Germany. They came to America in the mid 1800's. They lived in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Would share what I have. Also am interested in any information on August Wendt's first wife and the name of the town in Germany they came from.
