: Hello fellow and distant brethern.

: My name is Euan, and I am from Dundee, Scotland, though currently I am living in Dublin, Ireland.

: My father, Simeon Anthony Viveash, has a family bible, that's been in the Viveash family for years.

: Now in this there is a fairly comprehensive family tree dating back to around about Seventeen Hundred or so,(I think; it's been a long time since i looked)

: It could be able to answer pretty much everyones questions about Viveash, except its origins. There are also several very old letters from dead and long lost relatives.

: Perhaps this might be able to shed some light on the subject.

: Several years ago, I tried to find other people called Viveash but without much luck, so its really pleasing to kn ow there's other people out there who've spent an entire life-time spelling their surnames for everyone they meet, or telling people how to pronounce it properly.

: Yours Euan

I can sympahise with the having to spell our name thing!! I did laugh when I read that. Id completley forgotten I had posted a message on here to be quite honest untill my Dad (Ian Viveash of Wiltshire) phoned me this evening and told me. He had some spare time on his hands and was also looking more of our kind up. I believe that my Uncle has also posted a message on here, Neil Viveash, I cant be too sure, and have sent him a message asking so.

I found it extremely frustrating trying to trace my family tree, as I know the Viveash's have spread off in many directions, for example there is two parts to the family here in swindon. You have the wotton basette Viveash's which Adrian Viveash who plays for Reading originates from (or so my dad days) and then thers the swindon Viveash's( my half) and we originate from Minety in Wiltshire.

Also, when tracing the tree, I came across several records of Viveash's who are buried in St.Marys chruch I think it was, near Calne in wilts. I asked my Dad about this and he thinks thats not directly related to us.

Gettin back to present, my dad was tellin me this evening that apparently, his great grandfather uped sticks and left his family to move to Wales, which I believe is where he thinks we become related. Possibly you have the same great Grandfather as him. I think he said his name was Charles, I will confirm and get back to you though.
Thankyou for taking the time to get back to me.

Becky
