I built this web site with one main motivation, to share my family history with the rest of my family (dispersed in several countries) and allow them to log in both to contribute to and to view family trees. Therefore one main feature not mentioned above is the ability to invite other members to log into your account and actually give them permissions to update/add/view the family tree.
Regarding the ability to download the data that you've created, on my 'things to do' list is to add the ability to both upload and download data in various formats. This feature WILL be added as soon as possible. I need some time to research into the various existing formats so as to cater for as many formates as possible.
There will be other improvements over time including a complete re-development of the site in .NET technology which should give better performance of the site in general with regard to download response times. Any re-development will preserve all existing functionalilty and will not affect existing users or the data that they have created.
In summary, this is a young web site that I intend to improve gradually (based on useful feedback from users and boards such as this) and I hope that it will be enjoyed by as many people as possible. If I can cover my costs of hosting the web site, paying for the domain names and the many hours I have dedicated to building it then this would be great.
