E J was born in England, Aston District, sub-district of Duddeston, in the county of Warwick, on 13 July 1846.
He is listed in the 1880 Ms census as living in Crystal Springs and his occupation as telegraph operator. He was married to Fannie Owen of, I believe, Alabama. Their son, Andrew Owen Davis, was born their on 21 Dec 1882. That is all I know of E J. Any info would be appreciated.
