I am a 29 yr old woman who would like information on my families lineage. my great grandfather was by the last name of Glidden- Caswell Glidden, VT My great grandmother was a Johnson - Hilda Johnson, VT My Grandmother was a Jackson, Pearl Evadella Jackson, born to Vitalis Minckler. It is my understanding that we are of Irish decent on the Glidden, and possibly Jackson side. Decendants of these last names have resided in the Vermont and Conecticut area for many years. It is said that Andrew (Stonewall) Jackson was an ancestor of ours. I am jus looking for any information that may shed some light on our family lineage or even referance to where I can research this query myself. Thank you.
