History of The Higges or Higgs Family 1933.
This interesting book is entitled
“A History of the Higges or Higgs Family of South Stoke, Oxon and Thatcham, Berks and Their Descendants”.
The book measures 11.5 inches by 9 inches and has 530 pages. It is well illustrated with charts, and photos of the family dating back to William the Conqueror. It is by William Miller Higgs FSG assisted by others.
It is published by Adlard & Son Limited of London 21 hart Street, WC 1, in 1933.
Part 2 of the book includes the Higgs family in USA and in other counties of England.
It includes many pull-out charts (see photo) of geneaology at different periods. Fabulous and interesting book. Transcripts of entries in many parish registers.
Condition of the book is a little scuffed on front covers but overall quite good and certainly readable – no loose pages and all intact.
