hI - I am mainly researching my MILLARD (MILLERD) and MAKER (MACKER) ancestors. Keep running into brick walls...William Albert Armington Millard (Millerd) (Miller) was my gr-gr-grandfather, born supposedly in Pawtucket (when it was still part of MA) about 1808. Can't find his parents though believe his father to be either SAMUEL WILLIAM or WILLIAM SAMUEL. Grandpa William died in 1892 in Rehoboth, MA & buried in Raynham, MA. His wife was SUSAN MAKER (MACKER) daughter of SIMEON MAKER & MARY WALKER. Simeon's parents were BORDEN MAKER & LETTIS GOFF. Can't find anything on Borden other than he applied for pension & was living in Barnstable County at that time. I believe he died around 1820-1830 but can't find record. He had a brother named SETH. Am trying to prove he is of Native American ancestry.
William & Susan (Maker) Millard has son named ALPHONSO who married ANGENETTE WESTGATE - her parents JOSEPH WESTGATE & MARY MARIA BRALEY from Freetown. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with any info on any of these people.
