I am interested in any infomation on the name O'Hennessy...It seems that my family, of 11 members alive today, are the ONLY ones in the world useing this old spelling. The family name can be positively traced back to 1800 at Innes Co.Clare Ireland. All relatives seem to have disappeared or changed their name to Hennessy ? Has anyone a conection with O'Hennessy mostly in London 1850? - 2000 & South Wales UK 1946 - 2000, and now Scotland 2000 - 2002 ????????
