Born in Warren Glenn, N.J. in Pohatcong Township This was a highly esteemed citizen of Milford, N.J. He was
married to Mrs. Nellie Vanderbilt Hughes and is my father,s Grt. Grt. Grt. Grandfather. He was a member and trustee of the Milford Christian Church, a Mason,I.O.O.F., S. of A., the Milford Volunteer Fire Company, survived by one daughter Miss Florence Houghes, a teacher in the Public Schools of Burlingame
Two sons: William and Arthur, and one sister Mrs. John LaMar of Riegelsville. Died at 3:45 o'clock-pneumonia.
