Am looking for Parents of David Brooks from Ovid, Seneca County, New York.
His wife was Catherine Simpson. Believe her Parents to be Alexander & Dolly Simpson.
David & Catherine had Son Alexander Simpson Brooks in 1817 in Ovid, so they were married
before that. Would like anything about David Brooks Parents. Believe David a large Farmer
as he rented 1100 Acres in 1839 in Avon, New York. His Son Alexander raised Pure Bred
Durham Cattle & Merino Sheep in New York & in MI, where he moved in 1842 after
marrying Amanda Leonard in Ovid 13, Jan. 1841. Would like The Leonard Family too, if
anyone knows.
