I am stumped about my mothers side of Jacksons, and also the stices of Illinois and ky. or n.C. James jackson my grandfather b. 25 may 1881 m. 26 May 1904 d. 10 mar. 1975 Kew Ill. m. Stella Abigail Angelo. his father Marion Francis Jackson b. 25 Nov 1853 m. 23 feb 1875 Scott co. Ill. d. 6 nov 1935 Married Nancy Welch b. ? Some say she died on cherokee reserv. her father Hiram welch b. 25 june 1812 d. 22 sep 1859 m. Sarah Hanes. Father to marion francis William jackson b. 12 oct 1827 m 22 dec 1846 to Narcissus Stice. b. 11 feb 1830 d. 11 may 1903- It is stated wm was a jr. so his father is a william also. in 1860 census and others it states his birth state was tn. Narcissus stice as N.C . Her parents reported to be andrew stice and nancy armstrong. I don't know anything more about william and narcissus - siblings or otherwise. I really need some help here. There are so many jacksons and williams that it is not easy to distinguish one william from another. Please anybody can you help me? This is getting to be a desperate situation. thanks
