Thomas Grady was born circa 1828 in County Clare, Ireland. Migrated to Dudley, Worcestershire, England by 1851 and married Ann McCloskey. Thomas became a Master Bootmaker and emigrated with his 4 sons, William, Thomas, Michael and Patrick to Schuylkill County, Pennsylvannia, USA. He is buried at the Annunciation cemetery in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvannia.
