I have a Roland Holmes born in 1887 He was the son of Jasper Holmes and Emma White, they were married in St.Clair county michigan but family rumored them to be from Iowa but we have not found any documentation to where they actually came from. We do how ever have documentation that there was someone married to a Minne in the family because we have references to an Aunt Minnie in a book of birth days.
