been looking for relatives of the modes family for my family geneology. I only know as far as my great-grandfather, but could use more info. about him.
his name was abraham isaac moses modes probly from somewhere in russia, maybe drissa russia...he immigrated from russia with his wife anne (zucker) modes and some of their children, and other relatives to london england...about 1910 they came to the u.s.a. and settled in portland,maine.
any imformation would be appreciated
grandfather was samuel cecil modes
father was william stanley modes
