Robert Davis may have been b in Culpepper Co,Va since he owned land when Madison Co was formed from Culpepper Co. I don't know his parents or sibs but near to his farm were Isaac, Frederick, James and John Davis. Robert and Anne lived on Allen Mountain farm in western Madison Co. between Hood and Graves Mill not far from Green Co border. Other farms were owned by Benjamin Davis, Wm Edan, John Simpson and Charles Geo Cook. James may have been a brother and may have m a Wilhoit. Robert dated his will May 23, 1815. Children Elizabeth b 1780, Jamws, John, Wm, and Nancy.Ring any bells?
