I am currently trying to trace my family here in Ireland. I have traced back to 1819 to a Robert Devenney in Templepatric, Co Antrim but cannot find any information prior to this. I have been able to trace many families in Northern Ireland:
A)Willaim Devenney(Ballyduff, Co Antrim)& Spouse-John Devenney(28/06/1823)& Hanna Harper-4 sons & 2 daughters between 1848-1859(Ballyduff) including William John Devenney who married Catherin Robb-2 sons 1879-1880(carmoney & Ballyduff) including William John Devenney who married Sara Ann Morrow(1902)- 1 son & 1 daughter(1911 & 1916-Monaghan & Clones).
B)George Devenney & Wife Elizabeth-1 daughter Mary 1854 Donegal & 1 son Neil 1862 who married Kate about 1888 in Corkey, Co Antrim.
C)John Devenney & Elleanor- 1 daughter Hannah 1874 Letterkenny.
D)Michael Devenney & Caroline Smith-1 daughter Ann Jane 1829 Ireland
E)John Devenney & spouse-1 daughter Elizabeth born around 1816 christened 29/12/1816 Templepatrick.
If anyone has any information or knows of any ways of finding out more can they please let me know. Thanks
