My great grandfather was Thomas Calvert, who was supposedly born in Blackburn in 1848, according to the 1881 Census. However, I cannot find any trace of iether of them there. A Mary Jane fits dtewise, but she was born in Burnley. Does anyone know whether it is possible for Blackburn and Burnley to be confused ? They don't appear to be very far apart on a map. Any ideas will be gratefully received,
